A Winthrop / East Boston youth street hockey league is being started this year by Thomas Henderson and Nick Moulaison, who were presented with the idea by Tommy Henderson. They are hoping to get youths from ages 8 to 15 from Winthrop and East Boston to join. They are going to try and set the registration at $50 which will include a street hockey stick. All equipment will be supplied to play street hockey including goalie equipment and nets. The league will hopefully start this this year and with success run every year thereafter. Registration will be early May and the league will begin the end of May and go right through to the end August with playoffs and the first annual EBWYSHL Stanley Cup. The cooperation and support of everyone in East Boston and Winthrop is appreciated.
