Toys for Troops

From Richard Honan's newsletter:

As we approach the Holidays, it's time to think about our men and women from Winthrop currently serving in the military all over the world.

If you have a son, daughter, aunt, uncle, father, husband from Winthrop in the military, I would like you to contact myself or Winthrop Veterans Agent, Larry Holmes. We would like to send each of them a holiday or Christmas gift from the people of Winthrop. Let us know whether they are single or married. We will send gifts to individual soldiers. For those military families with children, we will send an American Express Gift card to help them purchase toys for children.

 
This request is not limited to those men and women currently serving in war zones such as Iraq or Afghanistan. We want to send a holiday gift to any soldier from Winthrop, anywhere in the world, whether it be, Camp Lejeune, Fort Bliss Texas, Japan, California, Korea, Germany or aboard ship in the Pacific. We want each and every Soldier, Airman, Sailor, Coastie and Marine from Winthrop to receive a holiday or Christmas gift as a symbol of appreciation from the residents of Winthrop Massachusetts.
 
Remember, we cannot send them a gift if we don't have their name and address!
