Richard Honan, who won the two year Winthrop Housing Authority vote on Tuesday, November 3rd, had some comments for Winthropite.com. "I was somewhat overwhelmed by the positive response that I received from the people of Winthrop. Either by the verbal encouragement that I received as I stood outside all day at one one of the polling locations and by the number of people that voted for me," said Honan.

"By becoming part of the Winthrop housing Authority, I just want to continue helping people. I hope that I can bring my organizational and communication skills into the Authority. The next couple of years will be further complicated by the cutbacks in both local and state aid."
