Laraine Mitchell, who had filled out papers to run for both Councillor at-Large and Precint 13 Councillor in Winthrop's upcoming town elections, has decided to pull out of the race. "Due to family obligations, I have dropped out of the race. I felt it would be unfair to the voters, if I could not give 100%, and attend all the meetings," said Mitchell. The elections will be held on November 3, 2009.
