Curbside Collection of Grass Clippings and Leaves - Saturday, Nov. 7 & Dec. 5

The Town of Winthrop is pleased to announce that again this year, the DPW along with Capitol Waste Services, will provide limited curbside collection of grass clippings and leaves.

Pickup will occur on Saturday, November 7, 2009 and Saturday, December 5, 2009 between 8AM and 12 NOON.

Leaves may be put out on the curb in barrels or compostable/paper bags (plastic bags ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE and WILL NOT BE PICKED UP), weighing no more than 50 pounds.

At this time, the program can only accept grass and leaves, no brush or branches.
