The holidays are approaching us fast and December 5th will be the last Christmas packages Richard Honan will be able to get out in time for the holidays. Some suggested items:

Decks of cards, puzzle books, small board games, Scrabble, checkers, chess, phone cards, Red Sox items, Patriots items, Celtics and Bruins T-shirts and hats, Wrestling DVD's, DVD movies, flashlights, decorations, reindeer hats with LED lights, Santa Claus hats, small (18" - 24") artificial Christmas trees, miniature Christmas tree ornaments, garland, candy canes, battery operated lights (for Christmas trees), batteries, Christmas music CD's.

I know times are tough for so many here as well with the economy; if you would like to make a small donation, even $2.00 helps. You can send it to Karen Mustone through the Winthrop High School memoriam fund, checks made to the fund and Karen will forward it to Richard in one check. We would rather everyone make a small donation and not be embarrassed of the amount as it will be anonymous. Books of stamps are welcomed to help defray the shipping overseas.

The Memoriam is selling DVDs for $20.00 of the ceremony and photos of the wall as a slideshow for $20.00. It runs 2 hours and was broadcast by WCAT.

Proceeds go to Winthrop charities. The Memoriam will be making a donation to Richard for the troops. Thanks in advance for any help - we can make a difference, as Richard has.
