Winthropite.com Launched

After fighting for too long setting up this website, I am proud to announce that Winthropite.com is finally officially launched. Work needs to be done, but I'm already receiving content and news items from fellow Winthropites.

I have a lot of great ideas for this site and company, and hope to be able to foster a sense of community on this site by offering everything that local residents of Winthrop are looking for in one spot. I also hope to make Winthrop a better place via small but meaningful changes, such as starting a Winthrop Farmer's Market and having events, workshops, and things of that nature.

I invite the residents of Winthrop, Massachusetts to contact me and let me know what you want to see for this site. I also welcome submissions of photos (of Winthrop, new and old; of your business or products you offer; of newsworthy events; of your organization, band, group; etc.), news items, events, videos of the community/special occasions/events - pretty much anything!

To really get this website up and going, I am looking for sponsors and advertisers for both the website and for bettering our community.

It'll be great to see what we can accomplish together.
